GB News‘ Alex Armstrong issued a furious rant after Labour MP Kate Osborne “blamed” the outlet following the horrific Berlin terror attack. On Saturday (July 25), Abdul Ballout drove a van into a crowd attending Pride celebrations, striking multiple people, before crashing into a tree. He then proceeded on a stabbing rampage and then fled on foot. After a massive manhunt involving 2,000 German police, Abdul rushed at officers with a knife and was then shot and killed by the authorities.

In the wake of the terror attack, the MP for Jarrow and Gateshead East issued a Facebook statement and claimed that “GB News sprouting nonsense broadcasting content,” contributed to “language that attacks and vilifies the LGBTQ+ community.” In his enraged response, the TV presenter stated: “It is disgusting. In my opinion, people like Kate are the problem in Europe.”

Osborne wrote: “From Oradea formally banning the 2026 Pride March with homophobic rhetoric, to Reform here in the UK, to GB News spouting nonsense broadcasting content and language that attacks and vilifies the LGBTQ+ community to the attack on Berlin Pride that has left one dead and 16 injured.

“We see these patterns emerging across Europe, an escalation of hate, verbal attacks online act as a catalyst for real-world physical violence. This is why Pride still matters and why we all need to vocally stand up for minorities and condemn the hate.

“My thoughts with all the LGBTQIA community and especially those injured in Berlin,” the politician concluded.

During the programme, Alex furiously continued: “Rather than the left addressing the serious Islamist problem we’ve got. They seemingly would rather gaslight you and make other people the problem, all to suit their political agenda.

“Well, I know what the problem is, and so do many of you at home. It’s radicalised muslims, many of whom have been imported into Europe thanks to far-left politicians and their ideologies.”

After listing previous terror attacks across Germany, Alex continued: “The real pattern is clear enough. Imported men from the Middle East and Southeast Asia, who hate the West, hate Christianity, hate our way of life, are committing mass acts of terrorism.

“This didn’t happen 30 years ago, did it. So, why do you think it’s happening now? As Alex concluded: “To all of the leftists, let me ask you again. Who is the problem?”

Reform UK MP Robert Jenrick hit back at Osborne’s post and claimed her statement was “unhinged”. Resharing the post, he wrote: “Here is a Labour MP linking the appalling Berlin Pride attack on Reform UK.

“It’s simply unhinged. The Left will do literally anything to avoid confronting the Islamist threat.”

Elsewhere, Labour MP David Taylor shared on X/Twitter: “The far-left like to claim terrorist attacks are the result of ‘Western Imperialism’. Germany opposed the Iraq war and the US’s operations in Iran this year.

“They are still a target because Islamic extremists hate our way of life. Our security services deserve our full support.”
