Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s royal future could be at risk because of their parents, reports claim. The sisters’ mother, Sarah Ferguson, purportedly met them in Austria where she asked for their financial support, according to Heatworld magazine.

Meanwhile, their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, is said to have expressed dissatisfaction at the distance Beatrice and Eugenie have maintained to please the rest of the Royal Family, a story in Woman’s Day claims. The siblings have reportedly been left in a tricky position.

An unnamed source claimed Beatrice and Eugenie are “painfully aware” of how delicate their position is inside the Royal Family.

The sisters do not want to alienate themselves from their wider family or risk “getting the boot”, according to the same source’s claims, reported by Geo News on Friday (July 3).

A greater risk is reportedly that if they do not help Fergie, the former Duchess of York will do a bombshell interview or pen a memoir.

An insider, reported by the same publication, said: “It’s hard to imagine it wouldn’t be the absolute end for them.

“They’re already teetering on being exiled along with their parents, so it’s an incredibly delicate situation.”

Beatrice and Eugenie’s finances hit the headlines earlier this week when it was reported that while their reputations have taken a hit in recent months, their bank balances have not.

Norman Baker, an expert on royal finances, told the Daily Mail that anyone worried about the York sisters ending up short of cash because of their parents “shenanigans” need not worry.

Both women have lucrative careers and are married to wealthy husbands. They also benefit from trust funds from the late Queen Mother and late Queen Elizabeth II.

Eugenie’s husband, Jack Brooksbank, and Eugenie’s, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, both work in property. Princess Eugenie works for the gallery, Hauser & Wirth, while Princess Beatrice has worked for data firm Afiniti and took up a role at software firm, Purpose Economy Intelligence, last year.
