Spanish border ‘collapse’ is awful news for Brits as 49,000 migrants surge into country

GB News aired a huge live bombshell today – and it’s a further migrant blow for Brits. The channel reported that the Spanish border at Ceuta has “totally collapsed” after 49,000 illegal migrants swarmed into the country, many of whom came from Morocco. Cameras were live at the scene as the roads appeared covered in litter, with migrants scattered around.
The programme’s senior political commentator Nigel Nelson said: “I think the next stop for a lot of these people will be Calais, and they could well try and get into Britain. What it does show is that we’re not the only country that has a major migrant problem, but it really is the whole of Europe. Our problem is less than other countries.”
Host Dawn Neesom argued: “That’s not strictly true, it’s not the whole of Europe, is it? Because Eastern Europe doesn’t put up with this!”
Nelson acquiesced: “Erm, no, that’s true. They put big fences up and things like that. But certainly the EU countries are all stuck with it. Turkey has got 4million migrants living there, they’re actually living in camps there. The problem is everywhere – Greece is on the front line, so many of the Greek islands have to have migrant camps.”
He added: “I’m not diminishing our problems, I’m just saying it is everywhere. Everyone is facing this.”
Conservative commentator Claire Pearsall fumed: “What are you going to do about it? I think everyone can understand that there is a problem and you can see that across Europe, the Middle East – North Africa route has been known for some time as being the way migrants come across.

“What are you going to do about it is the question that nobody seems to answer. I think this is where Spain has really got to get tough – you’re looking at people coming from Morocco. Last time I looked, that was not a war-torn country.”
Neesom interjected: “It’s a holiday destination!”
Pearsall agreed: “Absolutely, perfectly safe to go and return to. Are they going to do it? Are they going to put that action in straight away to say, ‘If you come over and you’re from Morocco, you’re going straight back’? I think that’s the only way to do it.”
